In 2009 Western Star trucks Australia initiated a development project with Dennis Eagle to bring the Elite 2 chassis to Australia. This comprehensive project involved a global engineering effort which included engineers from Australia, the United Kingdom and North America. The project team focused on integrating leading edge European and North American technology with the proven advantages of the Dennis Eagle chassis and tailored the final product specifically to the severe service requirements of the Australian market.
Today, Penske Australia is a leading supplier of the world’s finest heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, gas engines, and power systems.
